People always say this because it's true, LOL.
That entire For All the Dogs album was ****ing pop trash. Dude has a couple of rap songs mixed into what's an otherwise girly pop album. That's his recipe.
Calling Drake rap is like calling Blink 182 Punk Rock. Like....no...just no.
Blink 182 is "punk rock" for girls and Drake is "rap" for girls.

Nah, this is elitist garbage.
For All the Dogs was equal parts rap and R&B. That has literally been his formula since 2010. Sometimes he’ll go a little heavy on the rap (If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late) and other times he’ll go a little heavier on the R&B (So Far Gone) but in general he dabbles in both.
I think people just parrot the pop angle they hear from someone else because very, very little of his discography is truly pop.

I definitely think it’s much easier for a chef to tarnish their legacy trying to do much instead of sticking to what they know. Kind of like Drake tarnished his pop legacy by trying to delve into the hip hop world.

Comments like these let me know that you just don’t pay any attention to Drake at all, which is weird given how commercially successful he’s been. Dude’s been chatting with rap songs for over 15 years now and you’re acting like he just started dabbling in it with this Kendrick beef.
This is legit not even the first rap beef he’s been involved in! You’ve gotta get a grip on reality.
