$100 says he's going to pull that bat symbol thing out of his chest and use it as some corny bat tool....

I'm just wondering what those silver things on his forearms are, look almost Black Widow-esque to me, some type of dart launcher or something. Could just be there for show, but looks like a much more militarized, armor like version of the suit than before.

Is this true or a rumor?

Warner Bros is negotiating with Colin Farrell to play The Penguin in the Matt Reeves-directed The Batman. If the deal closes, he will round out the trio of villains going against Rob Pattinson's Caped Crusader, with Paul Dano as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman

Supposedly this movie is an adaptation of The Long Halloween to some extent.

Like in Superman II when he pulled the S off of his suit and it turned into a giant plastic wrap S that took out the three Kryptonians?

That bat symbol appears to be constructed with pieces of the handle of the gun that killed his parents, so I doubt it's a usable gadget.

They look like some sort of throwing axe to me. No doubt he's going to use them.

As much as I dislike the casting for Batman... the casting for the Batmobile is ****ing awesome.

@ScottWamplerBMD: The vibe I get from everything I've seen, heard, and read about THE BATMAN indicates that Matt Reeves is making a dark (but, crucially, fun) detective story with a shitload of gadgets, villains, and Bat-lore. Don't know why anyone would be mad about that. Sounds rad as hell imho.

I agree with this... definitely intrigued

Between the vintage Batcycle and this car, they’re definitely going for an old school vibe... like maybe it’ll be set in the early 60s or something

At least they’re trying to be different I guess, we’ll see...
