In my opinion too!

I get excited when the Chiefs sign players

Dunerdr 06-12-2023 07:30 AM

I have largely stopped caring if the Chiefs, my favorite team, sign more guys. But I get very happy when they win championships over rival teams!

It's quite obvious what Brett Veach needs to do here, and I'm a little shocked he hasn't already thought of it.

Go to the "Edit Player" screen on Hopkins and change his position from WR to P. His overall rating will go down to like a 34 overall and then nobody else will be interested in him. Then, you sign him to a 7 year, league minimum contract.

Once he's on the roster, you move him back to WR and he's under team control for 7 years with almost no salary cap hit. It's pretty sad I have to fill Veach in on these clever tricks I've learned over the years, I feel like he should know this already. SMH.

Going to summarize again:

Yes, D-Hop would help our Chiefs and we'd like to sign him.

Of course he's more valuable than our beloved role-players.

End of story.

The Cheaters have $14 million or so in cap space. And Belichick has been known for years to butt-kiss opposing players so he can sign them later on in FA.

BTW, can someone explain to me how to post a link to twitter so it just shows up in my post without anyone having to click on it?

Unless Hopkins is actually Tom Brady, then no he is not what the Pats are missing.
