Gerald Everett as #2 TE would probably be too expensive but would also be nice insurance for Kelce. I like Grey but he doesn’t get open as much as you would like in the traditional Y role. More a move TE and his short arms and catch radius do him no favors

Sassy Squatch 03-12-2024 10:42 AM

Think it was prior to the league year starting.

Wouldn't that cost Jacksonville a 2?

I wonder if their conditional pick only triggers upon signing him prior to free agency. That would make more sense.

Yea, they're just waiting so they don't have to give them a 2. Really obvious.

I *thought* that if he returned in any fashion, they owed a R2.

Definitely could be wrong on it, though.

EDIT: Seeing some differing opinions, but Jeremy Fowler is saying that they are in the clear once the league year started.

And potentially a left tackle, and a starting WR among those WR's drafted.

A lot of needs with seven draft picks.

Definitely going to need FA bargains at few spots , DT , DB , WR maybe

It only triggers if they sign him before FA, so because they let him become a FA now they can avoid losing that pick.

If we get priced out on these FA WRs, you have to start strongly considering Sneed's value to the team this year...

Especially if they aren't getting offered a rock solid 2nd rounder.

I mean I'm not paying Ridley the same amount of money I could just give to Sneed. Granted I don't think we are after him, but he's one of the only clear WR upgrades left out there.

You have to hope they are considering this. As of right now, we are still going to need an elite defense to win it again. Barring a huge splash in the draft, this offense is going to look very much the same.

I've been on the extend Sneed train since the beginning. I don't even think a 2nd rounder is enough, quite frankly. Just keep him, next year the cap will soar again and you have Reid coming of the books, can cut Thuney, ect. You can make it work.

I also wonder what good old #87 is thinking these days now that literally every key member of the organization is being paid top dollar at their positions except him. Eventually, that's going to need to be addressed.

At this point....I'd just see what Osborn would cost and move onto the draft.

If he does then you have a QB that was highly drafted that could better the Broncos. If not, they lose very little. Only 2-3 QBs in this draft more talented than him and they all will be gone before Denver picks. It’s a low risk move.

Those dipshits should've traded for Baker when he was cheap. They'd be in an exponentially better situation right now if that's all they'd done.

Good. Hopefully it remains a two team race. I wouldn't have minded Ridley but when the tier 3 guys like Davis and Mooney are getting 3/39 I can't imagine what a guy with actual #1 upside will get on the open market.

Get Ridley. He's BWRA.

The #Patriots have had trade talks with the #Chargers about stars Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Joey Bosa, and Khalil Mack, per the
