That, and wouldn't it be a big issue for him wherever he tries to go. I can't imagine most the fellow players being too tolerant of the guy. Even to the point where he's harassed and possibly to the point of a beating. He'll just be a distraction. I can't see any pro team being serious about this or anything good coming out of signing him as he's lucky his family had the money to keep him out of prison

Mercury's bullpen is terrible. They keep blowing leads. If Dayton was patient he could have traded Herrera to them.
