How does it compare price-wise to Master of Malt? I've had their calendars before and I feel like it's solid value.

I believe this was $225. The wife actually purchased it. I know she had to set up notifications through Flaviar after missing out on it last year. Seems really popular and sells out quickly.

I'm not sure how I feel about the value at this point. I could buy a number of bottles or a big bottle for the same amount but I am enjoying trying things I would've never have tried under normal circumstances. Probably not a good value for an experienced whiskey drinker, but for an exploratory drinker like me, it's likely worth it.

Terrible week of work. Nothing like a Long Island to get yourself time traveling.

Hop Butcher - Beef Dipped

Lemme get a beef dipped hot mozz!

Beautiful tri-tip just went on the smoker

Started with a Southern Tier Salted Caramel... yet another great offering from them.

Followed by Bourbon County Caramella Ale... very drinkable at 14%. Not sad that I only bought two, but still a high quality beer.

So what kind of beer is that?

Its an IPA, New England style if we're getting specific. Which is a hazy, juicier, fuller body, with less perceived bitterness than a West Coast IPA.

Yeah, a lot more apple than I expected, in a good way.

That's close in price. I really enjoyed mine for the same reason you mentioned, it was an opportunity to try things I never would have otherwise. Mine had a French single malt, a Swedish single malt, a few Japanese whiskies, and so on. Some that's really impossible to find. I hope you find a bunch that you really enjoy going forward.
