Let’s go Celtics!

-King- 05-13-2018 01:59 PM

Well this was unexpected.

dirk digler 05-13-2018 02:09 PM

Hope they can keep this up.

BigCatDaddy 05-13-2018 02:11 PM

Wow. Add Kyrie and Gordon to that group Lepuss will need to find 4 HOFers to beat those guys.

dirk digler 05-13-2018 02:27 PM

Celtics taking this game back to old school style.

dirk digler 05-13-2018 02:38 PM

That is how you play defense. Can’t believe they are up by 25

Not by some of us it wasn't / isn't. It was unexpected to me to see Cleveland get past the Pacers. I picked Boston to take them out on 6. Got laughed at my many here. I probably deserved it b/c I also picked Indiana and Toronto to beat them. We'll see what happens.

They just need to keep making the other players outside of Lebron locked down

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 05-13-2018 02:56 PM

LeBron has no interest in playing the Warriors

dirk digler 05-13-2018 03:20 PM

14 pts is a manageable deficit for the Cavs. Like the Raptors the Celtics need this game 1 so they better knuckle up

dirk digler 05-13-2018 03:26 PM

How many damn movies is The Rock in this year? jfc and they are all the same

Better for his legacy to lose early as MJ did and avoid losing another Finals. Smartly playing the long game.

-King- 05-13-2018 03:51 PM

So apparently even with Hayward and Kyrie Celtics couldn't win against LeBron according to KCC. Yet they just blew them out without either one of them. At the very least this proves that at full strength, the Celtics would have the upper hand in the series.

Can't wait to hear KCCs excused though.

Been saying since early in the season if they were full healthy they would be in the Finals. They aren’t the loser Raptors.

Hey, careful, thats the GOAT there . . . . . . . . (or as some would have you believe) . . . .

BigCatDaddy 05-13-2018 04:06 PM

This ****s LePuss up big time. With Boston looking like a great and rising team out East and the Warriors out West there goes the free trip to the finals every year. It will have to earned now.

Are you sure? KCC said the Warriors have 4 HOFers.

Paul is 34 and James will be in Dec. That team would be getting a bit long in the tooth for a younger Warriors team

ChiefsCountry 05-13-2018 04:20 PM

Cleveland shot 15% from three. They average 30%. That more than likely isn't going to happen again.

dirk digler 05-13-2018 04:30 PM

I am quite surprised listening to all the ex NBA players\coaches as analysts saying how much better a team the Celtics are than the Cavs. I think they are right as team but Lebron is the biggest equalizer though. Should be a fun rest of the series.

AssEaterChief 05-13-2018 04:47 PM

Cavs still winning this series

They are. Mostly because of Brad Stevens. He is an outstanding coach! But Lebron is still Lebron, so they’ll have their work cut out for them to knock out the Cavs.

It’ll be interesting to see how much better they will be next year at full strength with Kyrie and Hayward.

Im not sure its gonna be all that hard to beat the Cavs. They will throw all they have at slowing down Lebron and force the other guys to beat them. They cant.

Exactly. If we were pickng teams from these two rosters, based on how guys are playing now, we'd pick Lebron first of course, but the next 3 players would be Celtics. They have a lot of good players.

BigCatDaddy 05-13-2018 06:38 PM

Just goes to show how important Kyrie was to them
Without him they are a 4 seed barely able to get out of round 1.

The Rockets are close enough already that smaller upgrades would be better. Lebron is too high maintenance for a team on the cusp like the Rockets.
Hes one of the best ever but the Rockets dont need all that.

Hammock Parties 05-14-2018 05:15 AM

When LeBron finally cucks out before the Finals his failure will be complete.

Would it be that different than KD joining GS?

banecat 05-14-2018 11:37 AM

Let's hope that "Big Game" James Harden shows up for all the games in this year's version of the NBA Finals. Not sure that the Rockets can do it. I just hope that they do. And if they can't, no one can

I think you're forgetting that there is another force In the East, and they are called the Philadelphia 76ers. Anyone who watched our series against Boston without biased eyes would know that we could, and perhaps SHOULD have won the series. They just happened to have every stroke of luck go their way and we didn't. They can have the hype and accolades right now, but you better believe we will be giving them one hell of a battle for supremacy In the east for many years to come.

Lebron, George and Kawhi are all linked to the sixers right now!!..and there's a chance we could even get two of those names this summer. IF we do, then it's a wrap for Boston. Brad Stevens or no Brad Stevens.

You lost 4-1 while getting the benefit of every ref call, mostly because your young and inexperienced team choked repeatedly in the closing minutes, and because Stevens ran circles around your coach.

Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward say "hi".

I look forward to 10 years of battling it out with the Sixers though. Cs/Sixers rivalry has been renewed, and barring injuries or something freaky, the two should be serious contenders to win the East for the next decade.

Who gets to stay, who has to go? Who will they need to sign to please Lebron? Does Di Antoni get to stay or does Lebron have someone else in mind? Too much drama with Lebron.

Well it's that with a chance at a championship or losing to the Warriors every year with what you have.

I know which way I'm going on that one.

You really think they would have a legit chance to beat warriors? Not only do warriors have most talent, they have the best fitting, synergistic talent and most relevant talent for today's game. There's something to hero-ball becoming a less valuable thing nowadays.

Paul is 34 and Lebron turns 34 next year.. Pretty much only down hill from here.

ratchet 05-14-2018 03:45 PM

For instance, I think Lebron is no question the most impactful player ever, BUT i think curry with his specific supporting cast is the most championship relevant impact player in today's game. His game creates open looks for the 2nd and 3rd best 3pt shooters in the world.

BIG_DADDY 05-14-2018 03:46 PM

And I can't wait. Simmons is gonna work like a mad man on that jump shot this summer, and if he gets just an average one, then everyone knows what will who's gonna be the real force In the conference :D .

It's difficult to see any combination of players beating the Warriors right now, but they'd at least have a chance with LeBron. They have none without him.
