Give me... eh, I'll be nice to you and say EVERYTHING YOU OWN

Earlier in the year you said SGA was superior to everybody on the Wolves.

Maury Povich meme

He still is. Was easily the best player in this series as well (which is saying a lot considering the other team had Luka). Averaged 32-8-7 on 51% shooting with absolute garbage for teammates.

You're gonna be alone in that sentiment. Most NBA fans are taking Edwards over him

Anyone remember Acie Law?

Whatever happened to that guy

Not sure why anybody would, SGA was a far better player in both the regular season and playoffs. There’s a reason he was 2nd in MVP votes and Edwards was 7th.

So that's why everybody is making SGA/Jordan comparisons?

Oh wait. They're doing that for Ant. Not SGA.

Probably because they are people who don’t remember how good MJ was or never saw him play to begin with. It also isn’t a fair comparison to Edwards either because he can’t possibly live up to that.

Anyway, SGA is better than Edwards in every respect (as their stats bore out this year) and that didn’t changes suddenly because his teammates sucked in a playoff series.

KC_Connection 05-18-2024 10:03 PM

Similarly, I’m not gonna think any worse of Edwards when KAT and Rudy inevitably find a way to choke game 7 tomorrow.

Well that sucked for the Knicks. Brunson hurt and Pacers couldn't miss.

Said it before but the Nba has got to figure out something with overuse. It's like a gladiator battle right now. Brunsons hand injury is a little freaky, but so far you've had injuries knock crucial players like butler, Mitchell, porzingis, jarrett allen, Giannis out. While Luca and hart are playing at 75%. That's after a season of tons and tons of minutes management.

That being said, glad to see the pacers advance

So what's changed over the years? Stars didn't used to need load management and I don't recall as many injuries. Is it like baseball and there are too many miles on them before they even turn 18?

They were a completely different team after OG got hurt in that series.
