Yep. Dude will probably play a couple more seasons to bank and then to the MD gig for life. He can make way more $$$ over a short period of time playing football. At least that's how I'd play it.

I feel like any injury to LDT wouldn't push him to retire.

Except concussions.

On a couple other notes, you guys and your heel / achilles conspiracy theories are utterly laughable. Getting rid of Veach is laughable. Promoting an undrafted rookie to replace Fisher as our starting left tackle is laughable.

Y'all getting really worried about losing it all before it begins. I mean I get it, you're basically all experiencing battered wife syndrome. But stop and take a breath.

When this is written I have a hard time knowing if he was just lucky or just completely ****ing awesome.

After watching that pass to Robinson against Denver, I'm leaning towards 'completely ****ing awesome'.

Reid talking with Sirius XM on channel 88 right now.

Reid did confirm that they have been purposely throwing lots of blitzes at Mahomes in practice to prepare him for those better.

With this line, I think just sending 4 would have the same impact

How about making the offensive line better.

So the two position groups we've consistently had problems with, the secondary and OL, are still a huge weakness. I'm curious as to what people might think could be an explanation there. Our OL has had problems for the past 5 years or more, and the secondary hasn't exactly been overwhelming either. The best players in the secondary have been Berry (drafted by the previous leadership) and Peters (gone). Linebacker was also a huge question mark, although we hopefully addressed that finally thanks to Veach. Next year is a big draft for Veach. With 4 picks in the first 3 rounds there is no reason why we shouldn't expect 1-2 starters and several more instant impacts.

Well - it sure did quite a few times during the 1st two series of the Texans preseason game.

He said in his HBO interview that concussions were not something he was concerned about. It was injury to his hands and fingers that worried him.

Kiimo 08-13-2018 01:24 PM

That's just the concussions talking

That makes sense. I've seen Dr. Strange so i know how this goes.

The 90's and 2000's have somewhat ruined Chiefs fans expectations for OL play.

It’s true... although Thursday night was unacceptable under any circumstances given what we’ve seen the past few years from those same players, sans Erving.

It doesn’t help that NFL offensive line play isn’t as good as it once was anymore. The development curve is much steeper.
