I can't believe people are trying to talk them into Brock Purdy long term being....much more than he is.

He's a good solid QB. He's currently the best value of any player in the league based on what he's making. He's got limited upside long term.

I'm not sure Purdy is even that. He's better than Jimmy G certainly, but he's the weak link on what would otherwise be a super team with a top tier QB.

Well, he's a 2nd year 7th round pick. So yeah, he's probably the "weak link" there all things considered.

But he's fine. He's not great. He's probably a top halfish of the league QB as of right now. Maybe not quite there but once you get past 6 or 7, they're all "good or bad" based on the day.
