It featured a bad ass training sequence between Arya and Brienne. And after all this time, we finally got a full grown fire-breathing dragon laying waste to the Lannister army and a horde of screaming Dothraki riding into battle, standing on their galloping horses to fire arrows, etc. That was no average episode, that was a fantastic episode with massive long awaited events and dragon porn. I mean seriously? Average? I can't even begin to understand that take. |
The cave part was cool too
|
People speculating that this is Lady Stoneheart. Seen during the Arya sparring scene. Twice.

If they intended to use Lady Stoneheart, they should have introduced her many seasons ago. They already took out her entire Brotherhood without Banners involvement. I can't see them adding her back into the story now.

Reddit, man...
|
I can't find it now, but I read speculation last night that as Jamie sinks into the water Dragon Binder is beneath him. It's way too late for that.

Oh hey, he just happened to fall onto Sauron's ring while he was down there... |
I still need an explanation as to why there's a Marianas Trench right off the beach, much less a game changing powerup at the bottom of it that Jaime luckily floats down on top of (if that ends up being true).
|
Jamie is wearing armor. He's going to drown unless Bronn cuts it off him.

At the beginning of the next episode we'll find out Jaime's in 4 ft of water and he'll just stand up.

Or if you have paid HBO service, you can just go to hbo.com. |
Quote:
If you or someone you know has an HBO subscription use go otherwise use now. Go doesn't cost anything. |
Quote:
It'll take you through the end of this season; 30 days. Then you cancel. Next year I'll just drop the $30 for 2 months worth during the GOT season and cancel again. |

I actually find myself using HBO Now much more frequently than i use Netflix. HBO has some rally good programming. I originally subscribed just for GoT, but i've decided im keeping it.

HBO Go. HBO Now is a different creature. You use HBO Go, install it through an amazon account and then you can add it to any computer using the amazon app store. It's not that difficult. |

We have Directtv but I've not used it to log in. Detox may be right, but I could've sworn the little app I clicked on for my playstation says 'go' on it. |

It's confusing. I used to get them crossed up all the time too. I've used GO back before i was a "cord-Cutter". Now im using "NOW" on all my mobile devices. |
Just pay for it through one of the options (Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon, or Roku) and you can login to the website and watch. You just have to have an account with one of these services for billing purposes. HBO does not bill directly. Once you have an account setup to pay for the service, login to the hbonow.com website and stream whatever you want.
I can't even comprehend how someone isn't smart enough to pick up on that. |

Didn't realize it had to be a Prime account; figured it could be a normal Amazon account. |

Does anyone have a screen cap of this thing at the bottom of the lake? I didn't notice anything.

They only have 11 episodes left. Got to keep moving forward quickly. Thats what it would be foolish to introduce Lady Stoneheart or anything major from the books this late in the series. |

Just a guess (I haven't peeked at any spoilers), but I highly doubt Jamie died. Having him just get incinerated while trying to take out Danny would have been such an epic way to go out. I don't see how both he and Bronn wouldn't get captured if they're not dead either -- will be sort of lame if they get away by "floating down the river or some such shite. |
He is going to shed his armor in the water and come to the surface signifying his rebirth or some shit like that.
Pretty simple |
Howland Reed has to be in the series like present day howland Reed

Varys is the mole.
Anybody commenting on military strategy continues to be incompetent. The Dothraki would of been slaughtered sans dragon. |
They moved the story forward at a blistering pace tonight.

So Jon just assembled the Avengers. Awesome.

I don't get the whole "we have to capture an undead and convince Cersei that white walkers are real" sub-plot. WTF do they need Cersei for at this point? Didn't ring true at all.
And Varys probably is the mole -- which is super predictable and kind of disappointing. Oh, and totally called the terrible opening. Wasn't surprised to see Randy go up in flames, but was a little surprised to see Dickon buy it. |
They also confirmed Jon isn't a bastard.

Maybe not Jorrah if he gets to interact with his niece and gets completely chewed out. |

Why is Varys a mole now? I don't recall hearing anything incriminating.
