Veach wouldn't re-sign Jones/Watkins if doing so would also hamstring his ability to rebuild the roster properly. He's not an idiot.

One guy I think we should take a look at is Matt Brieda. I think he’ll be available in that 3rd or 4th wave and would fit nicely here.

The hand-wringing of last year has apparently carried over to the year after we won the Super Bowl. I'd say let free agency go on for at least a full day to say we won't improve anything.
