Waaaaay off topic here....

My oldest son this year has almost caught me as both the Easter Bunny and as the Tooth Fairy.

Accused me of planting all the eggs and candy this year.

Then, when I was trying to put some $$ under his pillow, he freakin' woke up. Had to come up with an excuse that he was falling off the bed.

You'd have to talk to the OP about that.

As for the system...so far it's OK.

At what age do you think it is appropriate to tell them about Santa?

My parents told me at ten.

Personally, I don't care to ever tell them. The world will lose it's magic without me having to push it along.

The b**** told them when our youngest was five. I think we salvaged a few years anyway. She's now seven.

I kind of feel like I should tell my 8 year old, but I really don't want to. He just loves waking up with the idea that Santa came to visit. I just don't see the reason to ruin it for him. Life will get hard enough for him.

Tell them what about Santa?

Bugeater 04-10-2007 08:23 PM

My wife's mother told her about Santa when she was around 6 or 7 because she felt guilty about lying to her.
