What’s next for the No. 1 recruit in the nation? Only Flagg and his family likely know at this point, though it’s hard to imagine the 6-foot-8, 195-pound forward would make his collegiate decision before his other two scheduled official visits: Kansas on Oct. 6-8, then Duke Oct. 20-22.

Three of the most decorated college basketball programs in the country, vying for his services for what will likely be just one season. Flagg is projected by some to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Flagg’s visit to UConn came with surprisingly little social-media fanfare. There was a video of him arriving at Gampel Pavilion, accompanied by UConn sophomore center and family friend Donovan Clingan, on Friday afternoon. There were several pictures posted on Twitter of Flagg posing with fans at Saturday's UConn football game. At one point, the somewhat sparse student section broke out into a chant of “Coo-per Flagg! Coo-per Flagg!”

I don't know, man. Self has had mixed results with these one and done types. He seems to do much better with guys that are in the program for 3-4 years.

Having a mix is best. I think we’ll have plenty of experience returning.

We need some high ceiling players too.

I watched some of it on YouTube. Holy crisp Self was pissed about the sloppy play. It’s a scrimmage for crissskes.

Chill out Bill. We don’t want you to have more health issues and miss games or walk away and retire. You are at the top of the coach tier. Stay in the game please…. Just back it off a little for an exhibition.

cmh6476 10-07-2023 02:29 PM

My son and I ran into HCBS last night. It was during the women's scrimmage, went to see if a team store was open went down some stairs and he walks right out into the hallway with just another dad and his son in the area and Bill motioning them over to say hi. So I pointed at my 16 yo boy and he nodded sure, was friendly as heck and my son got his picture with him. It was really fockin cool.

I think Self was upset with the sloppy play because most of them have had practices this season for PR. Right? They should be a little sharper. Or, at least that's what I think Bill thinks.

Also, I have never met anyone who has had an interaction with Self and said he was anything less than great. I have met him twice, one in AFH and once at Sprint Center, and even though both games were against ranked opponents, he was just a cool dude. If he hadn't been HCBS, you would have thought he was just a fan.

I have met 2 KU Head Football coaches, Mangino and Gill, and both of them were huge pieces of shit. I already knew Mangino was a POS from a lot of people I knew who dealt with the football team, and honestly, after a second interaction where he was worse, I don't know how anyone ever hired him, at any level, in the first place. Just a bad human being.

I met Turner Gill at a KU basketball game, before the game he came into an area of AFH I was in, and both AFH staff and fans tried to interact with him, and he basically shoved people away, literally waved his hand like he was swatting a fly towards others, and walked through a group of people he should have walked around.

There were about 25 of us, and it was like a scene in a movie, we just stared, speechless and just kinda made eye contact with the other people just to make sure that it actually happened. It was a preseason exhibition game, and as always the buzz in AFH was positive, and fans were anticipating the beat down that KU was going dish out, and people just wanted to support him.

with kryzalphabet now gone, roy williams gone, etc... the coaching elites are few and far between in the Basketball realm. From an industry standpoint, you cannot topple one of the few dynasty organizations still standing without suffering major financial consequences. Maybe they re-evaluated the landscape of the college board, the NIL, and decided that cutting their losses and pulling a Richard Nixon/Vietnam routine was the best course of action. "This is going no where. This is looking very bad for everyone. Everyone is getting pissed because there is no end in sight with regards to the litigation. It's costing too much money to prosecute something that we've since legalized. Let's just reduce the charges and claim victory."

They should leave the 2018 FF banner up and also add the 2020 title banner at the same time.

I don't exactly want to remember being at the 2018 Final Four, so this helps.

I'll always remember beating Duke though and that dick Grayson Allen's shot bouncing off the rim 18 times and out.... they can't take that away from us!

How did they come up with the total of 31 games to vacate?

Morons too lame to check and see how many wins the kid played in, which is 15.

Still total BS since the NCAA cleared him to play.
