FTR, I'm excited about Soler's start to the season as well. Definitely flashing the potential that GMDM saw in him. |

But yeah, I’m loving this Soler performance. |

Still bitter about the Super Bowl loss to Brady? Don’t worry, man. Time heals all wounds. |
Wade Davis gave up a 2 run homer in the 9th at Coors to blow a save against the Brewers. He now has more blown saves than all of last year. It's just tough pitching in that altitude.
|
The most encouraging thing about Soler is the plate discipline. That’s a skill that stabilizes early and tends to hold up.
He may not hit much more than .270 over the course of the year, but .270/.370/.500 plays quite nicely. |

The same contract they offered Greg Holland to come back, who turned it down at the advice of his agent, Boras. (whoops!) |

I haven't kept up closely with all the moves but what happened to Bonaficio ? I thought he was going to be a solid player for us.

Popped for roids

And Scott Boras hasn't exactly had what one would call a "banner year" if that is true about Holland. |

Breaking news, Duffy still sucks.
|
This is so hard to watch with Duffy. He’s nowhere close to the same pitcher this year.
|
Duffy’s just gonna curl up in a ball and cry

Duffy has to be hurt.

I'm not right a ton, but I've been right on these 2 shit signings. I didn't want Hosmer either. and I DID want Zobrist, however I knew he was gone on his own. Yes, this is a pat myself on the back post. |
Really wish we would have traded him in the off-season
|
The 2018 Royals starting pitchers have given up 9+ runs in 3 different games in 1 week.
During the 1980s, Royals starters had given up 9+ runs in 3 different games in a full decade. |
Well if Duffy didn't want to be traded he's done a good job of making sure that doesn't happen. We're making that beeline toward purgatory. You'll probably get a prospect for Herrera and maybe Moose if the Braves keep winning, but Duffy's probably the one guy we have who could get a real nice return and he's cratered his value.
|
I predict either a DL stint for Duffy soon or a surprise temporary move back to the bullpen.
Which one you putting your money on?? |

Duffy needs to lay off the porn. It's clearly affecting his play on the field
|
I think it's time to re-evaluate the porn policy.
Our veteran starters seem a little uptight lately. Think they need a release . . . . |
@rustindodd: Duda to DL. Hunter Dozier is back.
|
I'd be more excited about Dozier if he were hitting in AAA. One HR, slugging .339. I worry about that hamate bone he fractured last year. That often saps power. Hopefully it eventually comes around.

Great news! |

He’ll have numerous opportunities to fail given the limited depth in the organization. |
What a cheesedick way to score a run.

Robinson Cano popped for PEDs. 80 Game vacation forthcoming...

Didn't he just break his hand, as well (allegedly)?
|
The Mariners are pretty much becoming the Cleveland Browns of the MLB.
|
Has Ryan Goins been released yet?
Not sure I can watch another game where he is a participant. |

Yet another Royals pitcher shits the bed in the first inning.
For the Royals, it should be called the FIST inning. |
Hammel is really soft. Reminds me of Hoe-Chaser when he was a starter. Pitches just bad enough to lose.
|

:shake: |
And if you're the Royals, how do you respond down by 3 runs? By Jon Jay being thrown out at 2B after tagging up at first on a fly ball to LF, with power-hitting Moose and Salvy up next.
|
Down 4-0 now. We're gonna get swept by these clowns at home.
|
Bases loaded, one out, Salvy up ... I think you know what happened next.

Bring on the losses!!!

Anyone know if there projects to be any decent talent at the top of the 2019 MLB draft? It would be nice to have a decent payoff in the form of a Lindor or Correa type or at least something better than trash like Starling.
|
Swept. This team is just bad.
Hammel is 0-5. The Yanks are going to abuse these turds. |
