The issue is $$. Don’t want to keep him on the tag because it’s expensive. If you don’t trade him this year there certainly no guarantee his trade value is any higher next year if you want to go through all this again.

We don’t have any leverage outside a bidding war which isn’t happening.

Unless you sign him to an extension with a low hit this year and look to trade next year. If the value drops, so be it, but you got him for a year. I don't know, it just feels like the whole league is refusing to do business with us.

I'm for just keeping Sneed even if its just for one more year. Shut down guys like him are priceless, really.

He will be traded. Veach wants it. We may not get what we want but we aren't paying 19 mil this year. Veach has plans for that money and we aren't extending him and risk losing McDouffie, Creed and Bolton next year.

McDuffie is under team control through at least 2026, and they can use the tag in 2027 if necessary.
