Vincent Taylor killed me. Knew that should have been Marcus Williams.

BossChief 04-29-2017 04:29 PM

Blair Brown got me another +22

Cooper and Rehnkow didn't get picked, though.

I'll have to total it all up later.

Sure was fun

O.city 04-29-2017 04:34 PM

I overdraft the shit out of everyone it seems.

4. Jacksonville - Hoover - Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford (San Fran Pick 3) +1
35. Jacksonville - Hoover - Forrest Lamp, G, Western Kentucky (Chargers pick 38) -3
68. Jacksonville - Hoover - Desmond King, CB, Iowa (Chargers pick 151) -83
110. Jacksonville - Hoover - Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee (Steelers pick 94) +16

So all combined, I ended up being -19 for both teams. I'm actually pretty happy with that. A couple big misses. Oh well.

Rain Man 04-29-2017 06:33 PM

Cleveland's draft breakout:

01. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M - #1 pick (0 points)
12. Mitchell Trubisky, QB, UNC - #2 pick (+11 points)
33. Budda Baker, FS, Washington - #36 pick (-3 points)
52. Pat Elflein, C, Ohio State - #70 pick (-18 points)
65. Ryan Anderson, OLB, Alabama - #49 pick (+16 points)
108. Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma - #114 pick (-8 points)
145. Jeremy Sprinkle, TE, Arkansas - #154 pick (-9 points)
175. Aviante Collins, OT, TCU - Undrafted (-79 points)
181. Ryan Glasgow, DT, Michigan - #138 pick (+43 points)
185. William Likely, CB, Maryland - Undrafted (-69 points)
188. Travis Rudolph, WR, Florida State - Undrafted (-66 points)

-182 points total, but it was mostly three late-round picks who went undrafted. Eliminate them and it's a +32. My first five rounds went about as predicted.

Rain Man 04-29-2017 06:41 PM

Here are New England's picks. We didn't have any high picks.

72. New England - Rain Man, S Josh Jones - #61 (+11 points)
96. New England - Rain Man, Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington - #69 (+27 points)
131. New England (from Seattle) - Rain Man - James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh - #105 (+26 points)
163. New England (from Denver) - Rain Man - Ejuan Price, LB, Pittsburgh - #234 (-71 points)
183. New England - Rain Man - Ifeadi Odenigbo, DE, Northwestern - #220 (-37 points)
200. New England (from Indianapolis) - Rain Man - Cole Hikutini, TE, Louisville - Undrafted - (-54 points)
239. New England (from Detroit) - Rain Man - Lorenzo Jerome, S, St. Francis - Undrafted (-15 points)

Overall, a score of -113 points, but again, it was my late rounders who cost me. My first three picks were +64. We'll be fine, and if not, we'll cheat.

I love reading the CP Mock Draft every year. But from an outsider's perspective, I think you guys are scoring this wrong. Having huge misses - either positive or negative - shows you don't really know how the NFL sees these guys. Huge negative scores mean you reached really bad but huge positive misses means that you and everyone else had no idea that the teams liked that guy as much as they did.

It seems to me that you want your score to be as close to zero as possible (without large offsetting misses). Marco Polo's Cowboys draft is a good example of what I see as a good mock. None of his guys are more than a round off from where they actually went.

Just a thought.

TambaBerry 04-30-2017 06:55 PM

Well yeah but that's just like your opinion man. You can have an absolutely embarrassing one lime I had

BossChief 04-30-2017 06:56 PM

Mahomes was a +17
Williams was a +49
Douglas was a +5
Vanderdoes is a +44
-19 for Tim Williams
Mack Hollins was a +62
Joe Williams was a +95
Blair Brown was a +22

Cooper and Rehnkow didn't get picked

Rehnkow cost me -9
Cooper was a -36

Overall, my Chiefs draft was a +230

Bossreach, indeed.
