So what type of contract are expecting Moose to get? Do we really need a total reboot if we sign him? Need a SS if Mondesi isnt ready and CF but seems we can plug guys in at 1st, RF, LF, and DH next year without a drop off using Soler, Cuthbert, Boni, maybe Dozier?

I'm in the same boat as you. We shouldn't have to go into total rebuild if we can sign Moose. Hopefully we can get someone decent at the deadline

You'd have to think he'd get at least what Gordon got, especially if he hits 30-35 HRs

Soooo then - time to sell?

Mind you I'm not one of those people that WANT us to sell, but I am one of those that was really doubting our ability to rally and get back in it given the state of our putrid offense. But now you factor in Duffy being gone until possibly August, and our chances look even more slim of even a wild card.

That takes a lot of pressure off of DM.
