While I won't say it is impossible someone just gets better at running routes in the NFL, it is just unlikely. If you want to see what top end route running looks like, just throw on some Justin Jefferson or Davonte Adams. Once you see that then contrast that with someone who is poor at it, such as Mecole Hardman. Worthy is harder to do because he isn't poor, but mediocre. So concentrate on the high end and low end first. It is why I was critical of the Mecole pick when guys like DK, McLaurin, and Diontae were all still on the board and all obviously much better at it than Mecole. Most players that are weak or mediocre at route running don't change substantially. AD Mitchell is already very good but he is not quite a finished product. I think he is very, very close. So I will trust that a guy can make a minor improvement but not bank on a substantial category change: raw to mediocre or mediocre to good |

Rice and Hollywood working out with Pat and Stroupe again:

For a second it looked like htismaqe liked the tweet

I have looked at close to 10 different people with popular blogs/websites and there isn't one that says Worthy is a bad route runner. It's actually the complete and total opposite. Everything I've read has said that he is an elite route runner and one of the best in the country. That idiot has no clue what he is talking about. |
So….
Are college guys going to be practicing with Pat, Hollywood and Rice in Texas? Might as well take advantage of it before the NFL shuts it down. |
They will only tease guys we have not interest in drafting. We didn't't know about Rice until after thee draft, right?

Mahomes says he is most impressed with his route running. I've seen some clips of him him practicing with Mahomes where he did some really sharp cuts. Better than anyone we have ever had, besides Tyreek, in a long time that also had the speed. |

I don't know how much weight you can give something like this, but at least he tracked and caught the ball better than MVS/Hardman ever did last season, so it's progress. |
