Funny how Belichick's tone changes when he's talking about tape, you can almost hear enthusiasm there as opposed to when he's talking about literally anything else

Why do this to yourself, friends? Trust in Mahomes to bringith thee better days

not one person caught the fact the chiefs helmet logo was on backwards in that video. :D from now on, i will trust my gut instead ROFL |
I can't wait to meet them again. As long as Spags knows how to tie his own shoe laces, there's no possible way we lose to them again (if we're healthy). Our talent and brains supersede Belichick by a hell of a lot.

Actually not quite correct. What you typically see him doing is speaking with reporters, and he has no interest in that. None at all. I bet if/when you watch this top 100 NFL players of all time thing that is coming out in NOvember with Eisen/Collinsworth/Belichick, you will be amazed at how passionate he is about football stuff. Sure, some of it will be tape, but not all of it. Let's face it, he's never going to be Mr. Charming or terribly charismatic, but that persona you see behind the podium or on the sideline during the halftime interview is an intentional wall he puts up. Players talk about him completely differently. |

Que? And on the talent thing, I get why you think that -- many would agree. The Chiefs top, whatever, five guys is > the Patriots top 5 guys. But the NFL isn't 5 on 5, and I do think the Patriots guys from, say, 10 down are far better than most/all other NFL teams. It's BB's philosophy, and why the Patriots routinely have as many or more guys that are making "middle class" salaries. Many NFL teams have LOTS of money tied up in their few best players, and then make do elsewhere. Not the Patriots. Build in depth. You're only as strong as your WEAKEST link. That's a big part of the Patriots formula for success. |

Once Brady retires and the pats are back to average I’m wondering how many of these guys will stick around?

His condescending patriot takes aside |
it really comes down to our defense. If it isn’t much better, we’ll likely lose to the Pats again.
We are most likely going to have to go to New England in January. The Patriots schedule is embarrassingly easy. About half of their ****ing games are against the Bills 2X, Dolphins 2X, Skins, Giants, Bengals. Must be nice |
