You’re allowing more risk by playing him. I know he can get injured at any time, but keeping him on the bench eliminates at least ONE possibility, right?

Mahomes development is more important than receiving a second or third round pick for Alex.

Play him now and let him get some game experience before he starts next year.

Limit the playbook and put the kid out there.

This goddamn offense goes through HOOPS to avoid asking Alex to drop back, read a defense, and deliver the ball. He only does that 10-15 times a game, and he ends up scrambling on half of them. It's PATHETIC.

If we're going to treat our 33 year old veteran like a rookie, let's put the actual rookie with all world arm talent out there.
